IGP’s Community Based Programs

  • Our basic Girl’s Clubhouse program is to provide self-esteem building, horizon expanding and educational activities to young girls at low to no cost, in an environment that is neutral and unthreatening to parents and children.
  • Self-Defense Classes are for young ladies 7-14 years old. Session runs 8weeks long, twice a week. We conduct 3-4 sessions per year.
  • Environmental Education is taught through clean-up projects, presentations, mural and bus stop paintings, composting, planting and recycling projects.
  • Cultural Diversity Awareness is enhanced by bringing in guest speakers and showcasing different culture’s customs and traditions.
  • Career Development is promoted by our connection with UOG and GCC Intern and Service Learning Students. Individuals with high moral standing and varied career, athletic and company fields are invited to speak about their field of expertise.
  • Community Service is very important to us because most of our high school volunteers come to us seeking to fill hours required by their schools. This provides us with Positive Peer Role Models to promote civic awareness to our young members. We also conduct our own Community Events once a month for our members and volunteers to participate in together.
  • We are looking forward to more activities dealing with the Performing Arts in the near future.
